ARTIST EXHIBITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
GENERAL GUIDELINES
YOU MUST AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT IF YOU WISH TO EXHIBIT, CONSIGN OR SELL GOODS AT THE GREEN OWL OR ON SHOPGREENOWL.COM. By clicking "Agree" you confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to the terms set forth here in this Artist Exhibition Terms and Conditions page.
The Exhibitor, also referred to as the Consignor or Artist hereafter, warrants, represents, and attests that he/she is at least 18 years of age, is the legal owner of all goods exhibited/consigned, and has legal right to enter into this agreement.
ACCEPTANCE CONDITIONS
All works of art by the Artist must be approved and scheduled for exhibition by a representative of The Green Owl. Once selected, items are accepted Wednesday and Friday, from 11AM to 6PM, by appointment only.
RENTAL FEE
The Green Owl does not charge an exhibition or studio rental fee for Artist Exhibitions. Please
INSTALLATION
The Artist will be responsible for having their artwork ready for installation. It is up to the Artist to provide special installation materials as required.
Once installed or merchandised, the works of art will remain on display at The Green Owl, for the duration of the exhibition. Removal of work(s) during the exhibition is permitted only as a result of the purchase of the work(s), or with the substitution of artwork approved by a representative of The Green Owl.
PRICING
Green Owl Design reserves the right to approve the selling price of all items.
COMMISSIONS AND PAYMENT
We will pay You, the Consignor, a Commission on each item of Consigned Property that is Sold.
There is a 40/60 split of revenue from the sale of consigned items, 40% to Green Owl Design and 60% to the Consignor. For example, if You, the Consignor, had three items of Consigned Property that sold for a total net selling price of $100, You will receive $60 in commission and Green Owl Design will receive $40.
Consignors will be paid by check at the end of the business quarter in which the item is sold. In order to receive Commissions, You must provide Us with all necessary information, including but not limited to a valid email address, postal address, and first and last name. Checks are void after 90 days.

PUBLIC ARTIST RECEPTION
Green Owl Design reserves the right to approve the selling price of all items.
CONSIGNMENT PERIOD
General
The general consignment period is on a case-by-case basis, and is determined by, but not limited to, current trends and inventory needs. Items must be left for purchase at The Green Owl for a minimum of 60 days.
Green Owl Design reserves the right to remove inventory from the boutique floor for any reason, including: to create space for new items, when items no longer fit the overall curation of boutique merchandise, and/or when there is a lack in demand.
When inventory is removed from the boutique floor, Consignors will be contacted, via email, to retrieve items. You will be emailed a total of 2 times to collect merchandise. If We do not receive a response within 14 days of Our second and final attempt at contacting You, Your items will be considered abandoned and will become the property of Green Owl Design, are subject to disposal, or will be donated to a charity of Our choice. At this point, Green Owl Design will have no further obligations to the undersigned Consignor for account inquiries, accounting information, or contract settlements.
Articles may also be reclaimed by personally locating the item(s) in The Green Owl -- and by signing the “Release Date” section of the Inventory Sheet (provided after submission is reviewed and accepted) -- at least 60 days after the Agreement is formed. We must be notified 7 days in advance of any possible pickup.
Seasonal/Holiday Items
Seasonal/holiday items will be given a 60-day consignment period, or a consignment period deemed suitable by The Green Owl. The start and end dates of the consignment period will be outlined on the Inventory Sheet. The beginning of the consignment period will be in effect upon execution of the Consignor Agreement. It is also the responsibility of the Consignor to know when the consignment period expires.
Green Owl Design reserves the right to remove inventory from the boutique floor for any reason, including: to create space for new items, when items no longer fit the overall curation of boutique merchandise, and/or when there is a lack in demand.
An extension of the consignment period is performed on a case-by-case basis.

At this point, Green Owl Design will have no further obligations to the undersigned Consignor for account inquiries, accounting information, or contract settlements.

RISK OF DAMAGE OR LOSS
Although good care is taken of the articles consigned with Green Owl Design, everything is left at the Owner's risk. Green Owl Design is not responsible for loss due to fire, theft or damages. We will do our very best to monitor and care for your items!
CONSIGNOR INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION
You will be required to to provide accurate contact, payment, and other applicable information. We will not be responsible for communication errors should Your information be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for ensuring that You can receive emails from Us, and We are not responsible for any emails that were not received by You because they were blocked or filtered as spam. If You fail to provide Us with accurate and up to date information: (a) We will not be responsible for any misapplied payments or payments sent to a wrong address, and (b) any unclaimed funds may be subject to collection by governmental authorities under applicable unclaimed funds and escheat laws. We have no obligation to You if any of Your unclaimed funds are turned over to governmental authorities. Checks that are not cashed or deposited within 90 days will be considered void.
