This renovated multifamily clubhouse features painted built-ins, bold wallpaper, and updated lighting - part of a larger transformation that included refreshed bathrooms, a modern fitness center, remote-work zones, and updated leasing offices. Our renovations help reposition older apartment communities to compete with today’s market.

SANGFROID DISTILLING

This local distillery was redesigned to reflect its handcrafted identity, featuring a custom chalkboard menu wall by a local artist, warm wood finishes, and soft, intentional lighting to create a welcoming ambiance. The updated bar enhances the tasting experience, elevates brand storytelling, and reinforces a strong sense of place.

MULTIFAMILY AMENITY SPACES

This multifamily property, featuring both rental apartments and owned condos, was renovated to compete with newer developments in a growing market. Working within a limited budget and existing conditions, we focused on high-impact finish upgrades to the lobby, gym, remote-work center, kitchen, and game room—enhancing aesthetics, increasing value, and driving ROI.

PENTHOUSE LEVEL ELEVATOR LOBBY

At this upscale multifamily community in Bethesda’s Pike & Rose, we elevated penthouse-level elevator lobbies and corridors with luxe finishes. Textural wallpaper, sculptural lighting, and rich paint tones contribute to a more refined living experience - enhancing tenant satisfaction and aligning common areas with the elevated expectations of premium-level residences.

CONDOMINIUM LOBBY & CORRIDORS

This mid-century building was thoughtfully revitalized with new lighting, updated corridors, a dedicated mailroom, and locally commissioned artwork. Original slate flooring was preserved, running from the entry into the lobby—a standout feature. The redesign reintroduces character and functionality to a previously neglected property while honoring its architectural roots.

This office suite for Pike & Rose retail management was designed for function and efficiency. Barn doors maximize usable space, while wallpaper and tailored finishes reflect the development’s elevated aesthetic. A light, airy palette helps visually expand the compact footprint, bringing a sense of refinement to this workplace environment.

RETAIL DESIGN - BISHOP BOUTIQUE 

Located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, this upscale women’s boutique draws inspiration from Alexander McQueen’s Widows of Culloden, Fall 2006. The design features custom millwork throughout, distinctive displays, and elegant dramatic accents—creating a fashion-forward retail experience that feels curated, inviting, and timeless.

CONDOMINIUM LOBBY

This expansive condo lobby was redesigned to celebrate its original terrazzo floors and thoughtfully work with the prominent existing columns. We wrapped the concierge desk in Deco Leather as a budget-conscious update, added new furnishings, paint, carpet, lighting, and planters, and collaborated with a local Hyattsville artist to create large commissioned artwork.

HAIR & SPACE SALON

Located inside The Hotel near the University of Maryland, this salon was refreshed to reflect new ownership. We incorporated the owner’s existing branding for continuity, adding mural wallpaper, custom glass shelving, and fabricated signage to create a cohesive, elevated interior aligned with the hotel’s upscale aesthetic.

ELLA'S PIZZA DOWNTOWN DC

This Washington, DC restaurant was revitalized with a rebuilt bar, custom lighting, new finishes, and murals by a local artist. We custom-designed banquettes and expanded the bar footprint to increase seating capacity, boosting functionality and revenue potential. A wine-inspired palette adds refined warmth and atmosphere to the guest experience.

NEST PROPER RETAIL BOUTIQUE

Rich color, lush wallpaper, custom millwork, and atmospheric lighting define Nest Proper - Green Owl Design’s curated retail concept in Hyattsville’s Downtown SoHy Design District. Featuring work from over 30 local artists and makers and thoughtfully curated home decor, it offers a sophisticated maximalist experience...and the best candle selection in the County.

COCINEROS RESTAURANT

Formerly a Jerry’s Subs & Pizza, this fast-casual restaurant was transformed through custom details and strategic reuse. Existing stainless steel and cork were thoughtfully incorporated, while a bold infusion of color, stenciled plywood panels, and painted furnishings are balanced by a floral mural that softens the space with artful contrast.

PIKE & ROSE LEASING HUB

Formerly a children’s retail store, this space was reimagined as a leasing hub for three residential properties within Pike & Rose. We led the full design-build under Green Owl Design, redesigning the façade to reflect a new brand identity and outfitting the interior with elegant finishes, private offices, and a welcoming center for prospective renters.

THE HENRI MODEL APARTMENT

This two-bedroom, two-bath model unit at The Henri at Pike & Rose was fully furnished and styled to showcase modern, comfortable living. Warm finishes, layered textures, and a hip, modern aesthetic create an inviting feel, while thoughtful details speak to the lifestyle and entertaining needs of its young professional demographic.

EXTERIOR FACADE RENOVATION - ENTIRE CITY BLOCK

This commercial row was revitalized while preserving its original Tudor-style charm. We replaced the roof, redesigned and custom-fabricated new storefront windows with the architect and builder, updated paint, signage, and lighting, and introduced durable wood accents to anchor the windows and add a subtle, modern edge to the historic façade.

EXTERIOR FACADE DESIGN - DOCTOR'S OFFICE

We redesigned and managed the build of these two buildings for Dr. J. Richard Lilly’s practice. The outdated mansard roof was removed for a modern façade; both structures were fully repainted, accented with Nichiha wood for added texture and warmth, and upgraded with custom signage and new lighting—creating a cohesive, contemporary presence.
