Under new ownership, the overall project goals for The Shops at Crittenden Crossing consisted of installation of custom-fabricated storefronts, enhancement of the architectural character of the building, and rejuvenation of the entire block inclusive of an art walk in the alley behind the structure. Responsible for design, specification and procurement, facilitation of construction, and project management, our work included structural repair for interior units, new retaining walls, roof replacement, and accessible sloped entries for ADA compliance. Iconic Tudor details now stand proud in the classic white and brown color scheme. New metal storefronts and composite material in a rich brown wood finish unify the upper and lower levels. Copper gooseneck lighting adds warmth in texture and tone, illuminating the storefronts and sidewalk below. A fresh coat of paint for the neighboring buildings and new plantings for the planter boxes complete the look.
